misspixnmix answered your question: Are Scars Meant To Be Painful?
I’ve only had this happen in a vague ‘ghost pain’ sort of sense - an emotional trigger seemed to set off pain in the old scars
I didn’t realise that could happen - but it would make sense, I’m really stressed at the moment so if emotions can trigger it that would certainly explain a lot.
Thankyou <3
Anonymous asked: I've experienced pain near my scars before as well. It's always on my left arm when i have not cut in a day, and it hurts alot i can't even explain the pain. The only way i know of how to stop the pain is to cut my arm and then the pain leaves. Some one once told me it's memory scars or something where your body's muscles remember the pain you would feel before, not too...

These Exams Are Breaking Me
I’ve never felt under so much pressure with as little hope for being able to pull out the results.
I have to get at least 3 B’s to go to university without going into clearing (aka having no choice about where I go) and my grades are all over the place. I’m predicted 3 A’s, but my psychology grades range anywhere between an A and a C, and that’s while...

Are Scars Meant To Be Painful?
I haven’t cut in over a year, but lately my arms have been hurting a lot where the scars are. They’re pretty deep scars and took a long time to heal to begin with, but they’re not keloids.
Has anyone else experienced this or have any tips about why it might happen / how to make it hurt less? It’s happened before but not this often, and I’m really confused as to why...

Going over my notes for revision, and I keep finding random pages where I’ve doodled her name in the margin, or things I like about her, or her initials.
It’s ridiculous how long I’ve liked her for - and even more ridiculous that the feelings just seem to get stronger rather than die down.

Things I Want Right Now:
My back pain to heal
To know enough to pass my exams
The exams to be over with
To get at least 3 B’s
To get into the uni I want
To spend more time with the girl I like
And have some form of a social life so the people I talk to aren’t just my family and my teachers.

Ok, So I Wasn't Being Paranoid
Looked at some of the other comments this user had made on other videos, and they’re all the same - a request for this stretch which would give them a gratuitous crotch view. And the rest of their channel is really perverted with really inappropriate and racist comments. They’ve already looked at my flexibility tutorials I’ve put up and used it as an excuse to comment on my...

Kind of worried that the comments and compliments I’ve been getting on youtube, are down to the fact that I’m flexible and wearing really short shorts.
I’m probably being overly paranoid, but how do you tell if things are potentially predatory?

It is not pain which breaks us. In it’s own way, pain is the one true cause of strength. By tearing away at your insides, pulling apart your foundations, it forces you to rebuild - look at your life and transform it into a stronghold.
But love, love is different. Love changes your whole being: your life, your body, every breath you take suddenly resonates with that person, with her. Your...

It really hurts, loving someone you know doesn’t love you back - who can’t love you back. When spending time with her makes you the happiest and saddest you’ve been, all at the same time. She’s in my head, and she won’t leave - her name is there whenever my mind wanders, and I can’t stop thinking about her. I need to move on but it won’t burn out.

Oh my Gosh!!
Just discovered that Durham uni (where I hope to go next year) has it’s own gymnastics team that accepts beginners!
I could start gymnastics again!! I haven’t done it since I was 14, but I started when I was 2 - so I’m not exactly a beginner but in the grand scheme of things I might as well be. I never got that far b/c my coach wasn’t a particularly high level coach,...

Did Extended Project Presentation!!!
(On Friday - this post is kinda late)
It went surprisingly well! I was really nervous about having to talk to a large amount of people but I didn’t drop my flashcards (like I did in all the rehearsals), I said everything I wanted to in a way which didn’t seem preachy, and I got asked some really good questions which I was able to answer really well.
And the best thing was 2 of my...

I Take It Back
The extended project is a never ending stream of work and stress - if you think you’re anywhere finished, you’re not.
Just did a first run through of my presentation, and it took about an hour, rather than 20ish minutes. And I got all my words muddled up and forgot what I was saying.
I am done for on Friday.

I’m really enjoying co-running fuckyeahmenstrualcups. I’m under a lot of stress at the moment what with trying desperately to get my extended project finish, while knowing I’ve got exams looming, and generally having a ton of work.
It’s really nice to just do something completely different, to go through the menstrual cup tags and reply to people’s questions about...

Choreography
My coach - who is an internationally renowned, world class coach and skater in his day - yesterday asked me for help choreographing another skater’s program. And not just any skater - he asked me to help choreograph the program for the UK no.1 male skater who will be going to Worlds again this year, with this program.
I feel so completely honoured that he wanted my help - it’s so...

I have just purchased the MeLuna "Cool Lemon" set
fuckyeahmenstrualcups:
You can get it here (but please be aware that the price excludes shipping and handling — I ended up paying £25.73 in total as I live in the UK).
The set includes two menstrual cups in lime green and yellow, storage pouches, and a portable disinfecting cup. They look something like this (image from Meluna website):
As a brand, I personally find that MeLunas are more or...

Just to let people know, I’m now co-owning Fuck Yeah Menstrual Cups so there may be slightly less of the menstrual cup talk on here (though no promises!), but all that love is moving over to that site which I would love if any other cup lovers could go follow :)
We need more cup lovers to combat the hatred over them!

Do You Worry What People Will Think of You?
I used to - everything I chose to wear I’d run through a mental test of how socially accepted it would be, and a lot of times it would mean I’d end up throwing off something I really liked in favour of something that would draw less attention and that was more like what everyone else was wearing.
But that all changed when I got this coat for my birthday:
I’d always wanted one...

Hey, I was just wondering how long it took for your lunapad to arrive. I ordered mine on Thursday I believe. Do you think I will get it next week?

Menstruation Education
One thing that came up from my conversation with my sister, is why didn’t we get taught about menstrual cups at school? Women are lead to believe that there are two ways of dealing with your period - pads and tampons - and both those involve quickly putting something on/in, and then forgetting about your period, then binning all evidence as soon as possible.
This inevitably leads women to...

Sisterly Menstrual Cup Promotion
I explained menstrual cups to my sister earlier and as weird as the convo started being, I think I might actually have got her convinced! (Success!) I think the eco benefits are what really makes it sound good for her, cause it’s sth she’s always worried about, but also the fact that she’s going on a 3 month walk next year (from the most southerly to the most northerly part of...

Menstrual cups are that good! I feel much more in touch with myself when I’m using it, and that really does just help you feel amazing about yourself.
Believe it or not, your period can actually become a tool in self esteem and body positivism, because by using a menstrual cup, you really just stop being ashamed of the way your body works, and by embracing that you start to embrace other...

Menstrual Cup Tips
I’ve seen quite a few posts about people not getting on well with their menstrual cup purchase, or having difficulties with the use of it. I’ve only recently purchased one, but I’ve completely fallen in love with it, and I thought I’d post some tips on how I’ve found making using it easier, which could help others.
Before inserting, rinse the cup under water - having...

I wish I had this experience. I tried a DivaCup in 09. It turned sideways and got stuck to the wall of my vagina. I tried to get it out for hours. A friend pulled it out. I’m glad you’re having a much better experience! How long have you had yours?
